Designed for cleaning jewellery, watches, glasses, dental and surgical instruments, small tools, carburettors, electronic components, tattoo equipment and laboratory glassware.
It is built around a stainless steel tank, with a built-in heater and a digital timer and a degas function and a drain valve. It belongs to the PRO range - professional benchtop ultrasonic cleaners.
ASONIC ultrasonic cleaning devices are manufactured in China.

Bench jewellery work too
Rings and settings go in between the heavier jobs. It earns its place because it does both rather than needing a second machine.
Part of the maintenance plan
It is on the weekly schedule rather than being an occasional tool. Keeping the same settings across shifts is what we needed.
Laboratory glassware between runs
We use it for beakers, pipettes and the small measuring vessels. The 1–99 minute range covers both a short rinse and a longer soak.
Larger mechanical components
Gearbox parts, housings and the larger fasteners. The tank is long enough to keep a related set of parts together, so I do not lose track of which batch is which.
Tooling between shifts
Cutters, holders and the fixtures we reuse. It sits at the end of the bench, so nobody has to walk across the shop to use it.
