The timer suits a busy day
I set it and go back to the next job. Finishing on its own is what makes me actually use it, and I keep inside the stated duty cycle.
Shared across the workshop
Three of us use it. The same settings work for everyone, which keeps the workflow predictable from one job to the next.
Carburettor bodies and jets
I clean carburettor bodies, jets and the small brass parts. A stripped body goes in on its side and the jets sit in the basket beside it.
Engine parts and metal components
Pistons, valve springs and the smaller brackets go in after I have degreased them by hand. The heater helps me keep the routine at one temperature.
Workshop tools between jobs
Spanners, nozzles and the fittings I reuse every day. It has taken over from the parts washer for the small stuff.
